BRATISLAVA
Slovakia is interesting for business in many ways. On one hand, Slovakia has a favourable tax system (a flat tax of 19% for persons and companies, no taxation on dividends, etc.) and on the other hand – contrary to neighbours such as Hungary and the Czech Republic – Slovakia adopted the Euro currency in 2009. Therefore Slovakia combines the enormous growth potential of the Eastern European countries with a very liberal political system.
No wonder more and more companies choose to outsource (part of) their activities to Slovakia, set up a tax-friendly construction for their company or their directors, or invest in the Slovak market.
